  25. No. A lot af these drives _can't_ work on a standard Amiga because the Amiga's
  26. parallel port doesn't support all the hardware functions needed. This is why
  27. you won't see, for example, an Amiga driver for the parallel port version of
  28. the Zip drive. Unless, that is, you connect it to some third party parallel
  29. port hardware which supports the required functions.

  31. Quite why you'd want to connect a hard drive to a parallel port when SCSI
  32. is so much faster, and pretty cheap, is a mystery to me, but anyway...
